My client is an insurance company with a strong global presence.
We are looking for a PMO specialist in the Finance Transformation area for various projects including but not limited to IFRS 17 and Finance systems transformation. PMO will sit in a diverse and dynamic team under CFO office, oversee the overall project delivery in a global scope. PMO will also work closely with Project Management team, Actuaries, Finance, and Data teams to provide standard deliverables for each workstream.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support workstream leads by creating a rigorous Q&A Log, that captures key questions/answers for each BU, with specific emphasis on Questions that have benefit to multiple BUs
- Develop structure for Document hierarchy to ensure easy navigation to find relevant documents
- Programme Reporting - Priority on enabling decisions or managing risks; other status reporting kept to minimum compliance requirements
- Maintain action log to follow-up on dependencies
Requirements:
- A proven track-record of top performance in PMO on complex programmes in an international team environment (at least 5+ years)
- Experienced in Finance Transformation projects (IFRS 17 will be an advantage)
- Highly knowledgeable in the insurance industry
- Open to taking direction and quickly understanding the overall spirit of the vision for how to create and build the deliverables mentioned above
- Excellent communication skills and strong stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work under pressure
