Job Title: Data Loss Prevention Analyst (Junior to Mid)

Oliver James is collaborating with a leading international bank to recruit a dynamic Data Loss Prevention Analyst. This opportunity is tailored for a candidate at the junior to mid-level, possessing experience in IT Risk/Auditing or Compliance within the banking sector and keen to transition into a specialized role within the realm of information security.
In this role, you will become an integral part of the Risk and Compliance Department, responsible for managing risk across the business. Your primary responsibilities will include active participation in the Data Loss Prevention (DLP) process, analyzing alarms and violations, and generating insightful reports. Additionally, you will play a key role in shaping and optimizing rules to enhance the overall DLP process.

Key Responsibilities:
- Actively engage in the operational aspects of the DLP process.
- Examine DLP alerts to determine compliance with instructions.
- Collaborate on security incidents involving staff, supervisors, HR, and IT.
- Enhance rules, propose optimizations, and introduce new use cases.
- Regularly report on DLP security incidents.
- Continuously advance the DLP system towards increased automation.
Your Experience:
- Business or university training in Compliance, Risk, or IT auditing, preferably with a background in banking and a willingness to upskill.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English; knowledge of additional languages such as French and Italian (A2-B1) is beneficial.
- Strong focus on customer satisfaction.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality when handling sensitive data.
- Technical acumen and a natural affinity for processes.
- Inquisitiveness and perseverance.
