Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation of new software releases and other locally managed software
- Deploy add-ons, overseeing testing and release management procedures.
- Create and maintain automation and interfaces, utilising MS Office applications, accounting software, and other pertinent tools.
- Design, construct, and maintain data interfaces, scripts, and minor applications to streamline and automate core policy administration software.
- Develop and maintain reporting solutions and other applications to external and internal databases.
- Collaborate on the occasional development of tools supporting life insurance policy administration and other project tasks within the organisation.
- Contribute development expertise to a team transitioning from business domains to IT roles.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT or a related field.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, VBScript, and JavaScript.
- Experience with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Software Development Management tools is advantageous.
- Strong algorithmic skills, capable of constructing optimised process logic to meet business requirements.
- Ability to thrive in a challenging, deadline-driven environment as a part of a cohesive team.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in French or Dutch is beneficial.
