Job Opportunity: Data Protection (PDPA) - Compliance Manager



Our esteemed client, a prominent leader in the Financial Services industry, is currently seeking a highly professional and diligent Compliance Manager specializing in Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) to join their dedicated team. This is a permanent position based in their compliance department, offering a significant opportunity to advance one's career in a dynamic corporate environment.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring and assessing the Company's personal data protection policies and practices, to ensure compliance with the PDPA. This includes identifying risks associated with the collection, use, disclosure and storage of personal data understand their impact and propose measures to manage these risks
  • Conduct regular compliance audits and risk assessments to ensure adherence to legal standards and internal policies.
  • Coordinate with various department heads to enforce compliance protocols throughout the organization.
  • Manage and deliver compliance projects, ensuring they meet set timelines and budgets.
  • Provide training and guidance to company staff regarding compliance best practices and new regulations.
  • Prepare detailed reports on compliance activities and findings for senior management and regulatory bodies as required.

Key Skills:

  • Proven (5Years+) experience in managing Data Protection/PDPA with a Financial Services firm
  • Strong understanding of Personal Data Protection Act and other related legal regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with both internal stakeholders and external regulators.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
