Our client is looking for skilled GCP Data Engineers to join their Data & Analytics team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based data solutions. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining scalable data pipelines, optimizing data storage, and ensuring data security and compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement innovative cloud-based data solution
- Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines.
- Optimize data storage and retrieval processes.
- Develop and maintain ETL processes.
- Enhance data work flows and processes to improve performance and scalability.
- Execute data cleansing and preprocessing procedures to ensure the consistency and quality of data.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to comprehend data requirements and deliver appropriate solutions.
- Monitor and resolve data pipeline issues to ensure reliable and timely data delivery.
- Continuously assess and implement new technologies and tools to enhance data engineering capabilities.
- Ensure adherence to data security measures and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Over 3 years of experience in cloud data engineering
- Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases.
- Familiarity with ETL tools and frameworks.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and technologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
