You will work closely with data scientists, software developers, and DevOps engineers to build scalable, secure, and efficient data pipelines on Azure. You will be responsible for transforming raw data into structured and usable formats that support advanced analytics, machine learning models, and business intelligence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Azure Data Architecture: Design and implement end-to-end data solutions on Microsoft Azure, including data ingestion, storage, transformation, and analytics.
- Data Pipeline Development: Build, deploy, and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines to move data from various sources to Azure-based data lakes, data warehouses, and analytics platforms.
- Data Integration: Work with APIs, flat files, and streaming data to ensure seamless integration of structured and unstructured data from multiple systems.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize data pipelines and cloud infrastructure for performance, cost efficiency, and scalability.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure that all data solutions are designed with security best practices, maintaining data privacy and adhering to industry standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
- Automation: Leverage infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools to automate the deployment, scaling, and management of data services in the cloud.
- Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders across the organization, including data analysts, machine learning engineers, and business leaders, to understand data needs and deliver cloud-based solutions that meet business requirements.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer with a strong focus on cloud-based solutions, particularly Microsoft Azure.
- Proficiency with Azure Data services such as Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Data Factory.
- Strong experience with data pipeline frameworks and tools (e.g., Apache Spark, Airflow, Databricks).
- Hands-on experience with programming languages such as Python, SQL, and PowerShell.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, or Azure DevOps.
- Solid understanding of cloud security, networking, and monitoring tools on Azure.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Azure certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
