Your key responsibilities:
Design, implement and maintain the foundations, by using exclusively the AWS framework, in collaboration with the other middle ware chapter members and mainly with the software architect.
Design, implement and maintain solutions, by using exclusively the AWS framework, to support the different use cases for the Application Data Hub, the Data Engineers and Data Scientists.
Work together with the Software Architect(s) to keep the architecture of the various applications in good shape
Guarantee the quality of the code that you and the other team members deliver
Guarantee the integration of the various AWS Data flows with the other components in our landscape
Continuously seek to improve the usage of the AWS framework related to the data domain. The technology stack currently used is mainly based on : Athena, Glue, Redshift, Sagemaker, AppFlow, Lake Formation, Managed Workflows for Apache Airflow
Skills and competences:
You have a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or similar, or solid experience
You are familiar with the AWS Cloud and the different managed services offered.
You are familiar with the infrastructure concepts related to a Cloud environment.
You are familiar with the modern table format (Hudi, Iceberg, Delta Lake, …) and schema evolution best practices on a data lake.
You have a DevOps mindset and affinity with software development
You are customer-oriented, solution-minded and you have a learning mentality
You are Fluent in Dutch Or French and have a good understanding of English
