Roles & Responsibilities:
Azure Data Factory Assistance: Work with senior team members to help architect and manage data workflows using Azure Data Factory, ensuring smooth and automated data movement and transformation.
Power BI Contribution: Collaborate with data analysts to contribute to the implementation of Power BI solutions, enabling dynamic data visualizations and reports for various purposes.
SQL Proficiency: Utilize your SQL skills to support the maintenance of databases, adhering to best practices in data security, performance tuning, and disaster recovery.
ETL Support: Assist in the development and optimization of ETL processes, contributing to the seamless integration of data across platforms.
Data Quality: Participate in data validation and quality checks, aiding in the identification and resolution of data anomalies.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Data Engineering role or similar, involving exposure to Azure Data Factory, Power BI, and SQL.
- Native-level Mandarin skills highly preferred.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
- Familiarity with Azure Data Factory concepts and workflows.
- Basic understanding of Power BI for data visualization.
- Entry-level skills in SQL and relational databases.
- Exposure to cloud-based platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure.
- Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn within an agile, collaborative team environment.
- Effective communication skills to interact with diverse stakeholders.
- Previous work in the financial services domain is advantageous.
