As a Compliance Conduct Risk Expert, you will be responsible for assessing, managing and monitoring compliance with conduct standards and guidelines within the financial institution. You will ensure that the activities of the financial institution comply with relevant laws, regulations and ethical standards. You will work within various compliance areas; MiFID, ESG, GDPR, VRM, advertising and publicity, market abuse and insider trading,... to develop and implement policies and procedures that protect the integrity and reputation of the financial institution.
What is expected of you?
- You monitor the relevant laws and regulations and ensure that the internal policies, procedures and guidelines for headquarters and agents are in place and updated in a timely manner.
- You Analyze these laws and regulations, in case of deficiencies you inform management together with the compliance officer, and work out action plans.
- You follow up on the action plans and report to the compliance officer.
- You sensitize agents, staff and management to take a correct attitude towards the compliance areas and to follow procedures, laws and regulations meticulously.
- You follow up the implementation projects of laws and regulations and you provide advice on various proposals from the operational departments.
- You validate product trainings and commercial trainings for investments from the point of view of the compliance domains.
- You validate all advertising and publicity for investment and banking products.
- You advise proposals for new investment products in the context of the product approval process.
- You advise colleagues monitoring system to introduce or modify controls based on your observations and analyses.
- You represent the compliance function in committees and working groups and collaborate on internal and external compliance reports.
Your profile
- You have a Master's degree in Law or Economics.
- You have more than 5 years of experience within Compliance & Risk and have in-depth knowledge of Compliance Conduct
- You are analytical and responsible
- You are a collegial team player who works well independently
- You have a very good knowledge of Dutch and French.
