You will also act as a point of contact for Senior Stakeholders, Operational and Senior Management Teams as well as working cross functionally with the Group Shared Services team. The desired individual will be a self-starter with a proactive approach towards problem solving and achieving desired results. The individual will be expected to ensure there are clear finance strategies, driven to enhance the profitability of the business.
- Drive daily/ weekly/monthly reporting on KPIs across your responsible area and ensure timely reporting to senior management and operations
- Provide data driven insights to Senior Stakeholders, Operations & Senior Management
- Responsible for distribution of reports to various stakeholders across the group along with key points and recommendations to aid decision making
- Ensuring consistency of reporting between operational team and senior management team
- Drive weekly performance calls with operations, understanding key week to week actions and initiatives
- Ownership of weekly actions and driving actions so that these are closed out and operational team are consistently being focused on poor performing sites
- Drive weekly calls focusing on a number of KPIs across your regions
- Organise and chair weekly/monthly meetings and create robust action plans
- Follow action plans through to completion and/or hold members to account
- Contribute to the quarterly and annual budgeting process and provide commentary between actual and budget variance
- Responsible for sign off and review of site by site p&l and ensuring accuracy is maintained
- Responsible for preparing monthly management site by site pack to be distributed to operational team
- Update Group Commercial FC and senior executive team on all projects, initiatives, actions on a regular and timely basis and input into the weekly country initiatives update to board management
- Work with the Commercial Finance Manager and Controller to understand business performance trends and present key insights for business strategic projects.
- Drive the input production of the monthly management board pack and profit and loss account
- Lead monthly performance meetings with RM/AMs to go through top and bottom performing sites with a view to take strategic actions on a site by site basis.
- Perform ROI analysis on all investments
- Critically focus and drive labour cost and strategy and provide operational team with clear focused strategies
- Understanding margin performance and identifying clearly defined improvement areas
- Other Adhoc projects
