Responsibilities:
- To provide technical and coverage advice to claims team across multiple lines of business at all stages of the claims process, including any litigation, arbitration, alternative dispute resolution and settlement negotiations
- To manage the instruction of external counsel
- To provide advice to the claims team and underwriters on a range of coverage and claims related issues
- To assist the wordings team in drafting bespoke/market leading wordings and negotiate improvements to existing wordings
- To provide claims and coverage expertise for new business pitches
- To provide technical and drafting support surrounding the formulation of new products
