An opportunity has arisen to join a leading UK Law Firm's analysis team as a BI Developer. this role will offer hybrid working and is based in London;

Responsibilities

Install and maintain SQL servers and databases to ensure reliable access and excellent performance.

Responsibility for the integrity, security, backup, disaster recovery and availability of database systems

Develop and support financial management reports built on a mixture of SSRS and Power BI reporting.

Work with all other key business areas to devise, develop, and deploy required reports and business intelligence as needed.

Oversee data integration across firm wide systems ensuring data quality and consistency.

Document the data architecture and environment in order to maintain a current and accurate view of the larger data picture.

Act as technical lead or a technical resource on project work as required.

Respond to and resolve database access and performance issues.

Plan and coordinate data migrations between systems.

Establish appropriate end-user database access control levels and perform database security audits.

Where appropriate, leverage Azure cloud services for the delivery of data solutions.

Skills and Experience

Strong SQL server experience including writing TSQL and performance tuning is essential.

Experience with Microsoft SSRS is also essential.

ETL processes: experience with SSIS is essential and experience with Azure Data Factory would be helpful.

Data analysis and data modelling.

Experience of building front end BI solutions/dashboards using reporting and visualisation tools such as Power BI, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), and Excel.

Experience of working with APIs.

Previous legal experience would be ideal, specifically knowledge of Aderant PMS and Intapp products, specifically Integration Builder.

Proven hands-on experience of developing BI solutions within a professional services environment, ideally a law firm but not essential.
