I am currently working with a Global bank (Digital Business team) who is actively looking for a Project Manager (2 Headcount). This role will start as a contract role - initial contract of 12 months, highly extendable and can be converted.

As a Project Manager, you will sit in COO office to support the overall Digital initiatives for the bank through Operations, Technology, and Business Services. You will work with internal and external team to provide business management support - communications, strategy execution, financial management, governance and people engagement.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate resources and stakeholders to successfully execute projects in line with plans (time, scope and budget)
  • Ensure projects have clearly defined scopes and objectives which are agreed with relevant stakeholders
  • Articulates to stakeholders the targeted benefits and takes joint responsibility for benefits realisation
  • Drive project delivery proactively, balancing planning, scope, schedule, budget, communications and risks
  • Report progress, issues, dependencies and risks to project or programme leadership and committees as appropriate and make recommendations to influence decision making in order to maintain progress towards delivery
  • Manages the initiative sponsor(s), working with them to ensure project deliverable are met
  • Develop detailed project plans to track progress
  • Report and timely escalation to management as needed

Requirements:

  • Experience with innovation and transformation
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, and ability to influence peers
  • Experienced (3+ years) in similar role, ideally in a regulated industry
  • Detail orientated
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to communicate effectively and confidently at all levels across the Group
  • A desire to find ways to continually improve services delivered
  • Strong knowledge about Microsoft Word, Teams, SharePoint, Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of Confluence and Jira is a plus
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills required in English and Cantonese; Mandarin is an advantage
