Job Overview:

Join the team of one of our top clients in the Financial sector. We are seeking a highly skilled IT Infrastructure and Application Migration Specialist to lead the migration of applications to a new network zone and ensure seamless integration with updated infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Application Migration: Lead the migration of applications to a new network zone, ensuring compatibility and functionality.
• Infrastructure Setup: Design, install, and configure new infrastructure from scratch, compatible with both desktop and web applications.
• Web Application Deployment: Deploy and configure web applications on Internet Information Services (IIS).
• Firewall Configuration: Define and implement firewall rules between application components and auxiliary systems.
• Version Control Migration: Migrate repositories from TFS to GIT and establish CI/CD pipelines.
• Security Updates: Update and enhance migrated applications to meet the latest security standards, including cryptographic methods, source code reviews, and static/dynamic integrations.
• Compliance Documentation: Update compliance documentation to align with new standards.
• Development Support: Collaborate with the development team to ensure applications operate smoothly on the new infrastructure, applying OS updates and addressing vulnerabilities.
• Consultation: Serve as a consultant to IT Managers on application migration strategies.
• Expertise: Provide expertise on the migration of applications from Local BME Zone to Global SIX Zone.

Required Skills:

• IT Architecture: Proficient in both physical hardware and virtual machines (VMs).
• Development Technologies: Competent in .NET (ASP.NET web forms and desktop applications).
• IIS: Expertise in Internet Information Server.
• Database Platforms: Strong knowledge of SQLServer.
• Network Security: Proficient in network security and firewall rule configuration.
• GIT Pipelines: Skilled in setting up and managing GIT pipelines.
