A growing financial services client based in the Heart of Charlotte, are seeking an Azure Cloud Platform Engineer due to continued growth. The company are working on a variety of exciting projects and this positions represents huge scope for progression. You will be working on site twice a week and this is on a full time basis.
Duties
- Design and implement scalable, reliable, and cost-effective Azure cloud solutions based on business requirements.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand technical needs and translate them into Azure infrastructure designs.
- Lead the deployment and configuration of Azure services, ensuring proper setup, optimization, and adherence to best practices.
- Automate deployment processes using Azure DevOps, ARM templates, or other Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools.
- Implement monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and address performance issues.
- Continuously optimize Azure infrastructure for cost, performance, and reliability.
- Implement and maintain security measures to protect Azure environments, data, and applications.
- Ensure compliance with security standards and industry regulations.
- Proven experience as a Cloud Platform Engineer with a focus on Azure.
- In-depth knowledge of Azure services, resource management, and networking.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., ARM templates, Terraform).
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps for CI/CD and automation.
- Strong understanding of security best practices and compliance within Azure.
- Experience with monitoring tools and implementing proactive solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
