Associate Director - Insurance Broking (Conventional Power Generation) required by highly successful global insurance broking business offering competitive package, flexible working and long term career progression opportunities.
The role:
- Manage and develop a portfolio of clients in the power generation insurance sector.
- Analyze insurance risks
- Present tailored conventional power insurance solutions to clients, ensuring adequate coverage for risks.
- Negotiate insurance policies with insurance companies, securing the best terms for clients.
- Liaise with Claims Dept. to follow the claims settlement process.
- Maintain close collaboration with insurance companies and service providers to ensure efficient policy and claims management.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their specific insurance needs.
- Continuously monitor the marine insurance market, identifying emerging trends and opportunities.
Requirements:
- 4+ years experience broking experience within conventional power industry
- Excellent knowledge of conventional power generation insurance (coal fired / gas / combined cycle power plant)
- Strong negotiation skills and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with clients and insurance companies.
- Degree qualified in relevant field
- A network of contacts in the conventional power generation industry is beneficial
