Title: Assistant Director - Application Services (Healthcare)
Location: Remote, USA (Travel once per quarter to Georgia)
Type: FTE, Direct Hire
Base Salary Range: $155-200k

Our leading Healthcare client is in search of a versatile and seasoned Assistant Director to spearhead their Center of Integrated Application Services for Business and Clinical Solutions. The perfect fit will bring together deep expertise in Healthcare and Information Technology, showcasing a history of fostering innovation and deploying tech-driven strategies to amplify business efficiencies and clinical outcomes.

Candidates with hands-on experience managing environments consisting of third party applications are required. This will include: ERP, Epic, Revenue Cycle, ServiceNow etc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the strategic formulation and implementation of projects aimed at seamlessly integrating tech solutions into both business and clinical operations.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams comprising healthcare professionals, IT specialists, analysts, and data scientists to spot avenues for innovation and enhancement.
  • Cultivate and nurture partnerships with tech vendors, research bodies, and other external stakeholders to remain at the forefront of healthcare tech advancements.
  • Oversee the deployment and fine-tuning of electronic health records systems, healthcare analytics tools, telemedicine platforms, and related technologies.
  • Provide effective leadership and guidance to Center staff, fostering an environment of teamwork, ingenuity, and continuous growth.
  • Track key performance metrics to gauge the impact and efficacy of tech initiatives, steering decisions based on data insights.
  • Keep abreast of industry regulations and standards concerning healthcare tech, ensuring full compliance and adherence to best practices.

Skills Needed:

  • Bachelor's Degree mandatory. Background in business, health administration, or IT-related field highly desirable.
  • At least 7 years of progressive experience in Information Technology, including managerial roles, is essential.
  • Preferred certification in ITIL v3 or higher.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in project management, strategic planning, and financial budgeting.
  • Thorough grasp of healthcare regulations and standards like HIPAA and HITECH.
  • Exceptional communication skills, adept at engaging and influencing stakeholders across all tiers.
  • Proven leadership prowess, with a track record of assembling and motivating high-performing teams.
  • Innovative outlook, driven by a passion for leveraging technology to revolutionize healthcare delivery.
