Role & Responsibilities:

  • Be a go to indidvidual in the development and implementation of pricing strategies and product development initiatives.
  • Utilize advanced statistical and mathematical methods to analyze vast amounts of data, create predictive models, and assess risks.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with various teams, including Underwriting, Claims, and Finance, to ensure accurate pricing, profitability, and compliance with regulations.
  • Guide and mentor junior actuarial professionals, providing technical expertise and enhancing their skills and knowledge.
  • Generate reports and present findings to senior management, offering actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Work predominatnely within the Value based care, provider contracting, and ACO spaces

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience in actuarial work within the insurance industry.
  • Strong knowledge of pricing methodologies and product development practices.
  • Excellent proficiency in advanced statistical analysis software and programming languages.
  • Ability to interpret complex data and present information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to lead and inspire a team of professionals.
  • SQL, SAS, Excel(VBA), python

Please note that an ASA or FSA qualification is required for this position
