This local insurer is a market-leading company, and we are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Actuarial Par Fund Management Senior Manager to join their dynamic team. This is a senior-level position that requires expertise in stakeholder management, strong knowledge of Par funds, and fluency in Cantonese.
- Act as a strategic partner to the senior management team, providing valuable insights and recommendations on Par fund management strategies.
- Lead the valuation and pricing activities for Par funds, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, clients, and regulatory bodies.
- Monitor and analyse market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to identify opportunities and risks for Par funds.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including investment, legal, and compliance, to ensure seamless operations and adherence to best practices.
- Develop and implement performance metrics to evaluate the financial performance of Par funds and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Stay up to date with industry developments, market conditions, and emerging trends related to Par funds.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Finance, or a related field. Advanced degrees and actuarial certifications are highly desirable.
- Extensive experience in Par fund management, with a strong background in valuation and pricing.
- Proven track record of successfully managing stakeholders and building strong relationships.
- Fluency in Cantonese is a must, as the role involves regular communication with Cantonese-speaking clients and stakeholders.
