My client, a large life insurance firm, are hiring for a Reporting Accountant. The office is based in Birmingham and offers hybrid working.
Day to day, you would be;
- Involved in the production and analysis of high quality and timely statutory, regulatory, other industry and government bodies reports for life companies ad associated entities, including group reporting
- Supporting the deliveries of high quality and timely management information reporting of KPIs for Open and Heritage business segments under IFRS
- Providing accountancy input into the development of new accounting business processes to ensure processes incorporate current legislation and reflect developments in industry standards where relevant
Required experience;
- Qualified accountant with knowledge of finance operational and reporting processes
- Technical skills and knowledge of accounting and reporting processes in a financial services organisation (preferably in a life insurer)
- IFRS / Solvency II experience
